Connections might be formed or broken between identities and relationships when cultural conventions interfere with different points of view.
Inquiry Questions
Factual: In what ways were conventions established by historical heroes?  What was their point of view of the old conventions?  Why did they see the need to make changes?   In what ways is language pushed to the limit?
Conceptual: How did their pushing the cultural limits of their area change their relationships with others?  How can we push the limits of language?
Debatable: Did their actions change their identity?  Why or why not? Is pushing the limits of everything okay? Have we benefited or regressed because of their actions?
